Das Fianchetto-System ist eine bekannte Zugfolge im Schachspiel. Es ist eine Variante der Pirc-Ufimzew-Verteidigung und entsteht nach der Zugfolge:

1.e4 d6 2.d4 Sf6 3.Sc3 g6 4.g3

Das Fianchetto-System hat große Ähnlichkeit mit der Fianchetto-Variante in der Königsindischen Verteidigung. Weiß baut sich ruhig auf und versucht durch den Einfluss seines Fianchetto-Läufers das schwarze Gegenspiel im Zentrum einzudämmen.

Folgende Varianten sind bekannt:

  • 4... Lg7 5.Lg2 0-0 6.Sf3
  • 4... Lg7 5.Lg2 0-0 6.Sge2 e5 7.0-0
  • 4... Lg7 5.Lg2 0-0 6.Sge2 e5 7.h3 Sbd7
  • 4... Lg7 5.Lg2 0-0 6.Sge2 e5 7.h3 c6
  • 4... Lg7 5.Lg2 0-0 6.Sge2 e5 7.h3 Sc6
