Simen Agdestein[ edit ]
Simen Agdestein (* 15. Mai 1967) ist ein norwegischer Schachgroßmeister, der auch als Fußballspieler sehr erfolgreich war. Er spielte für Lyn FC in Oslo und kam auf acht Einsätze in der norwegischen Fußballnationalmannschaft.

In Schach erreichte er 1993 seine beste Elo-Zahl 2630.

Derzeit trainiert er das norwegische Schachtalent Magnus Carlsen.
