Nona Gaprindaschwili[ edit ]
Nona Gaprindaschwili (* 3. Mai 1941 in Sugdidi) ist eine georgische Schachspielerin.

Sie war von 1962 bis 1978 Schachweltmeisterin. Als erste Frau errang sie 1976 den Großmeistertitel der Männer.

Angesichts ihrer Spielstärke kommentierte Ex-Weltmeister Michail Tal die Aussage Bobby Fischers, er könne jeder Frau eine Figur vorgeben, mit Fischer ist Fischer, aber Figur ist Figur.
