Aston Taminsyah (b. 1997) from Indonesia, is a chess prodigy who won the first World School Chess Championship, U8 Category, in Halkidiki, Greece, in April 2005. Here´s his win against Fernando Spada of USA, who finished clear second (moves given in Algebraic chess notation):

Aston started playing chess when he was five. He won the Hong Kong National Chess Championship Under-7 Category in 2003.
In 2004, Aston won the Singapore National Chess Championship Under-7 Category in 2004.
Aston, at 7 years 7 months, is probably the world´s youngest player to be awarded the FIDE Master Candidate title.
Aston belongs to the Indonesian National Youth Squad. He got much of his chess training from the prominent Chess School in Indonesia (Sekolah Catur Utut Adianto ), a school named after the # 1 chess player GM Utut Adianto in Indonesia.
